Volunteer Application

I, [volunteer name], voluntarily agree to participate in volunteer activities with Skoolie Foundation. I understand that these activities may involve physical labor, interaction with vulnerable populations, and potential exposure to various conditions.

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Skoolie Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or related to my volunteer activities. I understand that this waiver applies to any injuries, damages, or losses I may sustain.

I have read this waiver and release of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

As a volunteer with Skoolie Foundation, I agree to:

• Treat all individuals with dignity and respect regardless of background
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client information
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Report any concerns or incidents to a supervisor immediately
• Represent Skoolie Foundation professionally at all times
• Refrain from using drugs or alcohol while volunteering
• Not engage in discrimination or harassment of any kind
• Follow the direction of program leads and staff
• Wear appropriate clothing for volunteer activities
• Respect Skoolie Foundation property and resources

I grant Skoolie Foundation permission to use photographs, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of me taken during volunteer activities for promotional materials, website content, social media, newsletters, and other organizational communications. I understand that these materials may be published in print or digital format.

I agree not to disclose or misuse any personal, sensitive, or confidential information encountered during my volunteer service with Skoolie Foundation. This includes but is not limited to: client personal information, organizational financial data, internal communications, and any information about individuals served by the organization.
